Shedding Form

A platter with a double layer of ceramic strips inspired by shredding tree bark.
Emerging from the textures and rhythms of the gum tree forest, this hand-built ceramic form reflects the layered patterns found in bark, fallen branches, and forest floor debris. The piece captures the quiet tension between order and irregularity - echoing the natural architecture of decay and renewal. The pale, ridged surfaces recall strips of shedding bark and the sculptural fragments left by time and weather.

Sphere

Ceramic segments shaped as a sphere.
The Sphere is a sculptural candle holder that marries soft geometry with tactile texture. Carefully hand-built from stoneware clay, its interlocking planes create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. By day, it stands as a functional art piece, and by night, it transforms into a glowing focal point, bringing quiet strength to your space.

Gathered Light

A dome of multiple ceramic cone shapes.
Like sunlight filtering through a field of reeds, Gathered Light captures movement and stillness in equal measure. The hand-formed stoneware tubes open toward the viewer, drawing in both light and curiosity. A quiet reminder of the beauty in repetition and the harmony of natural form.

Gum Trees

A folded undulating ceramic centre piece.
Inspired by the untamed landscapes of the Australian outback, this ceramic piece captures the essence of nature’s resilience. Earthy tones, textured surfaces, and organic forms reflect the rugged beauty of eucalyptus forests and the ever-changing light of the bush.

Canopy

A stormlamp made with ceramic tear drip shaped loops.
Hand-built in stoneware and finished with a restrained glaze, Canopy translates the layered rhythm of foliage into a vertical form. Repeated, leaf-like loops rise and overlap to create an open lattice that both contains and liberates space — a vessel that breathes. Along each edge the glaze picks out the contours, catching light and tracing the piece’s sculptural geometry. Part vessel, part screen, Canopy invites the viewer to move around it, discovering new relationships of interior and exterior, light and shadow, with every angle.

Fractured Geometry

A ceramic centre peice bowl made with squares of clay.
Hand-built from dark stoneware clay, Fractured Geometry explores the tension between structure and void. Each interlocking square form is meticulously arranged to create rhythm, light, and shadow. The piece invites reflection on how strength and fragility coexist, both in material and in form.

Quiet Radience

A centre piece platter made with ceramic tear drop shaped pieces.
Formed from dark stoneware clay, Quiet Radiance echoes the radial symmetry of flowers and seed heads. Its looping pattern invites light and shadow to dance across the surface, creating a sense of quiet movement. Both rooted and delicate, it speaks to nature’s ability to find harmony in repetition.

Lunar Arc

A half-moon shaped ceramic vase with lava-like textured glaze.
Lunar Arc is a handbuilt stoneware vessel that balances strength and stillness in a simple, sculptural form. Its curved silhouette and cratered surface recall the texture of volcanic rock or the pitted face of the moon — a landscape rendered in clay. The matte black finish absorbs light, deepening the sense of quiet solidity, while the   base lifts the form just enough to create shadow and tension. Both vessel and sculpture, it holds space rather than contents, an exploration of weight, texture, and the quiet power of restraint.

Calm

A smooth pebble like white centre piece bowl.
This slab-built ceramic centerpiece, finished in Mayco’s Sea Salt glaze, exudes a subtle, matte, and softly speckled texture reminiscent of sandstone smoothed by tide and time. Its organic, pebble-like form quietly commands attention on any table, shelf, or gallery space. A harmonious blend of minimalism and natural form, it draws inspiration from stone and stillness.

Blue Lattice

A blue lattice like ceramic bowl.
Blue Lattice delves into the delicate interplay between strength and openness through a meticulously constructed network of geometric forms. Each clay line is hand-built, converging at angular intersections that create a harmonious rhythm and transparency. The vivid blue surface, textured and light-absorbing, evokes the depths of the sky or sea, grounding the precise structure in something both elemental and fluid. This piece serves a dual purpose: as a vessel and as a sculptural exploration of negative space. It forms a framework that captures shadow and light, allowing the surrounding environment to complete its form.
